Macro possibilities are almost everywhere. You just need to look.
All shots below were shot handheld, with wireless flash (power set manually between at either 1/64 or 1/128). Exposure was controlled by both the distance of the flash in relation to the subject and the aperture. For the speaker grille, the aperture was set to the widest whilst for the DVD, the aperture was around F/14. A snoot was used for the blanket shot.
p/s: The white spots on the grille aren’t bits of dust, but corrosion.
