My son’s first permanent tooth is now starting to appear. When his milk tooth started to wobble, my wife and I told him that he could go to the dentist to get it removed. He didn’t like the sound of it so we suggested that he wobble it whenever he could. And this he did do… the tooth wobbled free one night as he was about to go to bed and he couldn’t wait to show it to his grandpa and grandma.
Of course, I wanted to record the occasion, but as with most boys, my son would make a face once you counted to three and pressed the shutter button. This snapshot was taken as I hit two to catch him by surprise. It was the second in a series of three shots, and I was making jokes throughout to get him to laugh. Shot with Nikon CLS via the SB-600 held about a foot away.
